Comites di Londra: avviato uno studio sugli Italiani di seconda generazione. Ecco come partecipare
La Comunità Italiana nel Regno Unito è numerosa e radicata, ma che legame c'è tra gli Italiani di seconda generazione e il Paese? Questa risposta cercherà di darla uno studio patrocinato dal Comites di Londra e condotto da studiosi della Loughborough University.
Lo studio, appena avviato, cercherà di delineare il come gli Italiani di seconda generazione vivono il loro senso di appartenenza e identità nazionale nel Regno Unito. Il progetto in questione è condotto dal dott. Marco Antonsich e dalla dot.ssa Kombola Ramadhani Mussa della Loughborough University. La domanda di fondo è: come l’idea di nazione cambia col cambiare della popolazione a causa delle migrazioni globali? Lo studio si concentra su esperienze ed opinioni di soggetti nati o cresciuti in Italia, dove hanno compiuto gli studi superiori, con genitori di origini africane (Sub-Sahara), asiatiche e nativi latino-americani, e che da almeno sei mesi vivono nel Regno Unito.
La partecipazione non prevede alcuna preparazione e consiste in una intervista online su Teams in forma di dialogo tra la dott.ssa Mussa e il soggetto partecipante. La durata massima del colloquio è di circa un'ora e le informazioni raccolte vengono trattate in modo confidenziale e sono garantite dall'anonimato. LONDON COMITES: A STUDY ON SECOND-GENERATION ITALIANS HAS BEEN LAUNCHED. HERE’S HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The Italian Community in the United Kingdom is numerous and rooted, but what is the link between the second-generation Italians and the Country? A study, sponsored by the London Comites and conducted by scholars of Loughborough University, will try to give a response.
The study, just launched, will try to outline how second-generation Italians live their sense of belonging and national identity in the UK. The project in question is led by Dr. Marco Antonsich and Dr. Kombola Ramadhani Mussa of Loughborough University. The underlying question is: how does the idea of Nation change as the population changes due to global migration? The study focuses on the experiences and opinions of subjects born or raised in Italy, where they have completed their higher education, with parents of African (Sub-Sahara), Asian and native Latin American origins, and who have been living in the United Kingdom for at least six months.
Participation does not involve any preparation and consists of an online interview on Teams in the form of a dialogue between Dr. Mussa and the participant. The maximum duration of the interview is about one hour and the informations collected are treated confidentially and are guaranteed by anonymity. Attendees are offered a £20 Amazon (or other company) voucher.
