Londra: l'arrivo di Zelensky in visita al Paese
Nella giornata di ieri il Presidente Ucraino Volodymir Zelensky ha fatto un viaggio a sorpresa nel Regno Unito, incontrando le più alte cariche dello Stato.
Zelensky, dopo essere atterrato all'aeroporto di Stansted, è stato subito accolto dal Primo Ministro Rishi Sunak. A seguire ha fatto visita alle truppe ucraine che si stanno addestrando sotto la supervisione dell'Esercito Britannico.
Il momento più alto si è svolto, tuttavia, alla Westminster Hall, dove, Zelensky, ha tenuto un discorso di fronte a tutti i Parlamentari riuniti. Nel suo discorso Zelensky ha ribadito che il bene ha sempre la meglio sul male, che la Libertà vincerà e la Russia sarà sconfitta, non mancando di ringraziare l'ex Premier Boris Johnson per il coraggio dimostrato. Verso la fine dell'incontro Zelensky ha regalato il casco di un pilota ucraino allo speaker della House of Commons Sir Lindsay Hoyle.
Nel pomeriggio Re Carlo III ha dato udienza al Presidente dell'Ucraina e a seguire c'è stato un incontro con il Premier Sunak a Downing Street. Qui, Sunak, ha ribadito che l'obiettivo del Regno Unito è cercare di garantire la vittoria dell'Ucraina contro la Russia, lasciando aperta la possibilità di inviare jet militari a sostegno di una controffensiva ucraina.

LONDON: THE ARRIVAL OF ZELENSKY VISITING THE COUNTRY
Yesterday Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelensky made a surprise trip to the United Kingdom, meeting the highest offices of the state.
Zelensky, after landing at Stansted airport, was immediately welcomed by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. He then paid a visit to the Ukrainian troops being trained under the supervision of the British Army.
The highest moment, however, took place at Westminster Hall, where Zelensky gave a speech in front of all the Members of the Parliament gathered. In his speech Zelensky reiterated that good always prevails over evil, that Freedom will win and Russia will be defeated, not forgetting to thank former Prime Minister Boris Johnson for his courage. Towards the end of the meeting, Zelensky gave a Ukrainian pilot’s helmet to House of Commons' speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle.
In the afternoon, King Charles III gave an audience with the President of Ukraine, followed by a meeting with Premier Sunak in Downing Street. Here, Sunak, reiterated that the goal of the United Kingdom is to try to ensure the victory of Ukraine against Russia, leaving open the possibility of sending military jets in support of a Ukrainian counter-offensive.
