Londra, Metro: previste chiusure e disagi per il weekend di Pasqua


London, Tube: closures and inconveniences planned for the Easter weekend


For the Easter weekend TfL has announced partial or complete closures of various tube lines, in particular Piccadilly, Northern and Hammersmith and City Line.


The inconveniences will begin on the weekend of 9 - 10 April, during which a partial blockage of the Bakerloo Line beyond Queen's Park and a suspension of the services of the Overground three Euston and Watford Junction is expected.


During the Easter weekend, however, the outages will concern the Piccadilly Line to and from Heathrow airport, with discontinuity of service, while the Northern Line between Charing Cross, the new branch direct to Battersea Power Station and Stockwell will be closed on 15 and April 16.


The Hammersmith and City Line, on the other hand, will remain entirely closed for 4 days due to maintenance works, as will the District Line between Tower Hill and West Ham and between Earl's Court and Kensington (Olympia), while the section between Turnham Green and Richmond it will be closed only on Easter Sunday.


Between Friday 15 and Monday 18 April the sections between Acton Town and Heathrow and between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge of the Piccadilly Line will be closed for construction.


As for the Northern Line, however, it will only operate in Central London to and from Charing Cross and in the section between Stockwell and Mordern.

ITALIAN VERSION


Per il weekend di Pasqua TfL ha annunciato chiusure parziali o complete di varie linee metro, in particolare Piccadilly, Northern e Hammersmith and City Line.


I disagi avranno inizio nel weekend del 9 - 10 aprile, durante il quale è previsto un blocco parziale della Bakerloo Line oltre Queen's Park ed una sospensione dei servizi della Overground tre Euston e Watford Junction.


Durante il weekend di Pasqua, invece, i disservizi riguarderanno la Piccadilly Line da e per l'aeroporto di Heathrow, con discontinuità di servizio, mentre la Northern Line tra Charing Cross, il nuovo ramo diretto a Battersea Power Station e Stockwell resterà chiusa il 15 e 16 aprile.


La Hammersmith and City Line, invece, rimarrà interamente chiusa per 4 giorni a causa di lavori di manutenzione, così come la District Line tra Tower Hill e West Ham e tra Earl's Court e Kensington (Olympia), mentre la tratta tra Turnham Green e Richmond resterà chiusa solo la domenica di Pasqua.


Tra venerdì 15 e lunedì 18 Aprile i tratti tra Acton Town e Heathrow e tra Rayners Lane e Uxbridge della Piccadilly Line resteranno chiusi per lavori.


Per quanto riguarda la Northern Line, invece, sarà operativa solo a Central London da e verso Charing Cross e nel tratto tra Stockwell e Mordern.
