Scioperi: TfL informa gli utenti sui potenziali disservizi di Mercoledì e Giovedì
Continuano ciclicamente gli scioperi dei lavoratori del settore dei trasporti di TfL, che sono intenzionati a difendere fino alla fine le loro pensioni e le loro condizioni di lavoro, nonché a combattere contro i tagli al personale. RMT è Aslef hanno concordato di protestare unitariamente Mercoledì 15 Marzo. TfL ha messo le mani avanti e ha informato i suoi clienti dei disservizi che si verificheranno.
L'azienda di trasporti ha affermato che Overground, DLR, Elizabeth Line, tram e autobus saranno più affollati del solito, con il rischio di allungamento dei tempi di viaggio. In alcune tratte potrebbero essere chiuse alcune stazioni, non permettendo ai mezzi di fermarsi. I disservizi potrebbero, inoltre, durare fino a Giovedì, dato che la piena operatività dovrebbe riprendere più tardi del solito. TfL ha invitato i propri clienti a verificare costantemente la situazione sul proprio sito ufficiale.
Nel frattempo RMT ha invitato il Sindaco di Londra Sadiq Khan a prendere provvedimenti e ad individuare un nuovo modello di gestione per fermare il declino di TfL, la quale continua a fare i conti con problemi finanziari. Per ora circa 10mila dipendenti iscritti al sindacato non presteranno servizio Mercoledì 15 Marzo e parte di Giovedì 16 Marzo.
