Cinema: a Londra la prima britannica di “Challangers”
Il regista Luca Guadagnino è stato accompagnato da Zendaya, Mike Faist e Josh O'Connor, insieme allo scrittore Justin Kuritzkes, ai produttori Amy Pascal e Rachel O'Connor e al costumista Jonathan Anderson presso il famoso cinema Odeon Luxe Leicester Square di Leicester Square a Londra.
Tra gli ospiti speciali presenti per celebrare l'uscita del film ci sono stati Russell Tovey, Munroe Bergdorf, Nathaniel Curtis, Mabel, Charli Howard, Rina Lipa e Mia Regan e molti altri.
Diretto dal visionario cineasta Luca Guadagnino, "Challengers" vede Zendaya nel ruolo di Tashi Duncan, una ex prodigio del tennis diventata allenatrice, una forza della natura che non chiede scusa per il suo gioco dentro e fuori dal campo. Sposata con un campione in una serie di sconfitte (Mike Faist), la strategia di Tashi per il riscatto del marito prende una svolta sorprendente quando lui deve confrontarsi con il fallito Patrick (Josh O'Connor), il suo ex migliore amico e ex fidanzato di Tashi. Con i loro passati e presenti che si scontrano, e le tensioni alle stelle, Tashi deve chiedersi, quanto costerà vincere?

Directed by visionary filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, "Challengers" stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach, a force of nature who doesn't apologize for her game on and off the court. Married to a champion in a series of defeats (Mike Faist), Tashi's strategy for her husband's redemption takes a surprising turn when he must confront the failed Patrick (Josh O'Connor), her former best friend and Tashi's ex-boyfriend. With their pasts and presents colliding, and tensions running high, Tashi must wonder, what will it cost to win?
"Challengers" will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures in the UK and Ireland on April 26th.
